is your rural water supply mainly used for non-potable use?

Did you know that if you complied with an Acceptable Solution, compliance might be simpler?

An Acceptable Solution replaces the need to produce your own DWSP and SWRMP, and to comply with the QA Rules.

You still need to do alot of the things that the QA Rules and a good DWSP would require you to do, and some assumptions are made about your supply.

If any of these assumptions aren't true, you will need to instead develop your SWRMP and DWSP, and comply with the QA Rules.

The first assumption for a rural supply, is to check is whether the less than half the water supply supplies housing, with the rest going to rural uses such as irrigation for horticulture or pasture.

If this assumption isn’t true, but your population is less than 500, another acceptable solution may be applicable. (See future blogs)
